A collage and thumb print sketch. I have experimented with various printmaking techniques and although I appreciate them all I am not going to snub a basic thumb print. I think that a fingerprint or hand print is as unique as we can get. We are pushed to always do something that's never been done before but at the same time build on predefined rules and examples. No one else will be able to make MY finger print. It's simple and it's only me. Alas, simplicity is not encouraged in my university even though I feel deeply that simple can be just as aesthetically pleasing as anything extremely elaborate.
